Promotion and Awareness
The Director and other staff give presentations to local community groups on request.
Awareness sessions are also offered, free of charge, to staff teams wherever there are patients / clients / residents who have mental health problems, dementia or are detained under the Mental Health Act.
Awareness sessions are also offered in the same way to patients themselves.
These presentations aim to provide an awareness of advocacy. They are also to promote a more positive image of mental health service users and people with dementia, as well as to recruit volunteers and raise funds.
